Building Trust. Speaking Clearly. Strengthening Teams.

Following 15 years of executive level communications and marketing roles within legal, political, and religious organizations, I have seen firsthand that an organization’s greatest strengths—and its greatest vulnerabilities—often come down to the same thing: whether people trust the organization and the people leading it.

When the executive team is razor sharp in defining their values, identity, and what makes them unique—and living those values out—communications and public relations teams can move at lightning speed and produce better work. This alignment is fundamental to effective communications and long-term strategy.

That’s why I live at the intersection of leadership, organizational culture, communications, and reputation management.

My goal is to partner with you to build practical strategies that strengthen your organization from the inside out. From there, we can build a communications plan that brings the results you need and execute with excellence.

Your goal is to elevate your organization and increase your impact.

Who I Work With Most

Nonprofit CEOs and boards. When you're facing a leadership transition, rapid growth, gradual decline, a crisis, or a gap in senior communications leadership, I help you get clear on who you are and build a plan that earns trust with the people who matter most.

Conservative organizations and leaders. I've spent my career in the arena: hostile press, coordinated opposition, donor scrutiny, and legal battles. Political organizations, PACs, current or aspiring politicians, and others need a clear identity that sets them apart from others. That is the foundation for delivering clear and consistent messaging to the audiences you need to influence.

PR and communications agencies. When your team needs someone with specialized experience, the ability to build narratives and strategies for your clients, ensure a plan is executed at a high-level, or manage a crisis on short notice, I can work alongside you. The client relationship stays yours. But I’m there when you need me to ensure they get the best possible service from your team.

What I do

No two organizations need the same—so I will develop a custom proposal to fit your needs. For instance:

  • When executive leadership and communications teams need better alignment. I help leadership teams clarify what they stand for, where they’re going, and how that translates into effective communication to critical stakeholders and audiences.

  • When the organization is going through change. Leadership transition, restructuring, the beginning of a major campaign, rapid growth, reputational pressure, and cultural change can make people question your identity. Are you still who you claim to be? Let’s make that clear!

  • When the stakes are high. Crisis, media scrutiny, internal challenges, or layoffs are examples of moments when leaders need an experienced outside perspective.

  • When a CEO needs senior communications leadership without hiring a full-time executive. Fractional CCO/strategic counsel is one way to set an effective strategy from the ground up, and then hire the right person to run that long-term.
